Here are the main things I use my mixer for:
- Mixing the ingredients used for meatloaf or meatballs. My hands stay relatively clean, and most importantly, warm because I don't have to dive them into that cold meat!
- Standard mixing for cakes, pie fillings, etc. No labor in this! I can drop the ingredients in, turn the mixer on, and go grab and prep other things I need for my recipe.
- Making Butter or Whipped Cream. So delicious! You can also add herbs and other spices to butter for more flavorful steaks and breads.
If you don't have a stand mixer in your home, I highly encourage you to invest in one. Did you know that the Kitchenaid mixers also have attachments to make pasta and grind meat? How cool is that!
