A month without groceries:
Week 2
We're almost half way through this challenge! I double checked my fridge and freezer to make sure I still have what I need to make it the rest of the month without buying groceries and so far so good! We did eat out 3 times this week (check out how I save money on eating out here!).
As I discussed last week, I am allowing myself to buy strictly $10 in produce from the store each week. I went a little over this week, spending $11 (though I did only spend $9 last week) on the following at Aldi:

For breakfasts, we ate a lot of waffles and cinnamon rolls. I like to make those and freeze them in individual size portions to take and heat up whenever we desire them. My waffle recipe is the same as you'd find on the back of a bisquick box, just with added blueberries. Click the waffle pic below, however, if you'd like to see the recipe I use for syrup! Also, you should know that when we had tacos for dinner this week, I took the produce I bought and made pico de gallo! The taco picture below links to the pico de gallo recipe.
